Michigan Awesome was founded in 2009 during the economic downturn that affected our state and the entire country. We wanted to highlight some of the “awesome” things about Michigan, and it turns out a lot of people agreed with us. Our popular t-shirt sayings like “Smitten with the Mitten” “Home is Where the Hand Is” “4 out of 5 Great Lakes Prefer Michigan” and more resonated with Michiganders and visitors alike. Since then, we have expanded our product offerings to include drinkware, home goods, artisan food and more – all while continuing to celebrate the “Land Shaped Like a Hand.” Locally based in Holland, we pride ourselves on quality products, awesome customer service and quick turnaround times.
